Experienced Hair Stylist for upscale Aveda Salon and Spa
at Lisa DeSimone in Dracut, Massachusetts
A busy, energetic and environmentally conscious Aveda Concept salon in Dracut, Massachusetts is seeking experienced Hair Stylists. This is a full-time permanent position; we would like to hire candidate(s) to help us grow our business into the future. Pure Salon and Spa provides excellent compensation and a unique opportunity to for an exclusive clientele. At Pure, you will be one of only 3 lead stylists, allowing you to build your clientele quickly and without excessive competition for walk in clientele and new customer appointments. As we grow our business, so will you, we want you to succeed!!!
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Provide individualized hair services and treatments that meet the clients’ needs and expectations
Explain products, services and treatments to clients and assist them with determining their individual needs
Ensure clients feel welcome when they arrive for their appointments
Stock and maintain work stations according to standard operating procedures
Promote and up-sell products and services
Ensure that a high standard of service is maintained throughout the spa
Requirements:
3+ Years of experience.
License to perform hair services in Massachusetts
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
A friendly, people-oriented, customer driven individual
Extremely detail oriented
Ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively
This candidate should be an individual who has an upbeat and energetic work ethic. Candidates need to work effectively independently and in a fast-paced team-oriented environment.
Candidate will be required to perform at technical cut and color evaluation before hiring.
Candidate must be willing to participate in Aveda educational and styling advancement classes (provided by Pure Salon and Spa and Aveda professionals!!).
