At our Ann Arbor, Royal Oak, East Lansing, Grand Rapids and Chicago campuses
Douglas J owns and operates high-end Cosmetology Institutes throughout the Midwest that pride themselves in taking the Salon/Spa Industry to the highest level of professionalism and guest servicing. We offer a complete menu of services in hair, color, nail therapy, and skin care. We are known for being on the cutting edge of everything the Salon/Spa Industry has to offer. The most important priority at Douglas J is providing the guest with high quality services that make them look and feel great. We continue to exceed expectations by offering the highest level of technical and professional service that have been the foundation of the company since its creation over 40 years ago.
The Educators at the Douglas J Aveda Institutes are responsible for upholding the Douglas J culture and supporting the Aveda systems through community service, role modeling, and professional teaching methods. We strive to instill a polished, professional image in our students and provide an education that will be the foundation of their careers.
Qualifications:
Nail Instructor License (current)
Polished, professional image
Leadership / Role Modeling capabilities
Attention to detail
Willing to grow personally and professionally
Willing to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends
Previous supervisory experience a plus
Must be available to work 40+ hours per week
Duties may include but are not limited to:
Overseeing nail room in Institute
Facilitating classroom lessons
Attend regular advanced training workshops
Lesson planning
